Hemp has tons of nutrients packed in a tiny amount of the plant. It is packed with omega-3 fatty acids, protein, iron, fiber, magnesium, phosphorus, antioxidants, and other essential nutrients and minerals. Paired with other superfoods, it can be a great, nutrient-rich snack on the go.
1tspsea salt(your choice of fine grade or course crystals)
1-2tspminced garlic(optional)
a splashof lemon juice
Vegetable oil like coconut oil or olive oil(for greasing your pan)
Instructions
Wash the kale thoroughly. Kale loves to collect little critters that may contain protein, but may not be what you wish to consume. I like to soak my kale in a salt bath first, so debris and insects can float to the surface and be easily rinsed away.
Preheat your oven to 250 Fahrenheit
Grease a baking pan with a small amount of oil
Mix wet ingredients separately in a bowl
Mix the dry ingredients evenly and separately
Toss the kale with the oil mixture
Mix in the dry ingredients
Spread the kale evenly across the pan
Place the pan in the oven for 30-45 minutes
Check frequently. You are looking for a slightly bronzed appearance with a slight crisp. If you have a convection oven, your kale will cook 25% faster
Let them cool
Pack them in a to-go container and snack on them during the day or eat them on the spot
Notes
*Note: hemp seed oil is derived from the hemp plant seed, while CBD oil is derived from its leaves.
